Can I take pebbles from the beach to be used to make jewelry?
I saw I liked a necklace of stones, which were drilled and tapped. I would like make one, but no use if it is okay to take stones from a beach? I mean something somwhere about not taking the shells, but what about stones. Anyone know? Thank you – And it is possble to pierce?
I would. My husband (child in the city) is always a big deal about not taking the pebbles on the beach – he wanted to buy B & Q for the garden, when we live 10 minutes from the sea! (Country girl I always lived on the coast) Maybe if you went and picked with a mechanical shovel would be a problem. But who knows – rock Police! Since the drilling of them – this is your challenge!
