How can I keep my deer feeders and flowers to use snuff?

I have a very small yard. I plant flowers every spring and maintain bird feeders all year. The deer came into my yard and eat my taste and bird seed. Food passes dropping seeds. I've heard that eating of snuff can avoid coming into my garden. How I do this? Is it wrong or my flowers to keep birds away from feeders? Thanks, Judie

I not use the snuff, but I know that if you place a call home or Lowes, they tell you the type of flowers, shrubs deer do not like, I do not remember the name, but a flower, in particular, away forever.
