I have a "copper solar cascade water fountain and I know exactly how the magnetic coupling work
The sealed motor solar-powered units of the pump rotor by magnetic coupling. I do not know if the wheel is supposed to be magnetized or not. Mine is not working and most of the time. Perhaps a magnet that makes the engine is supposed to carry a non-magnetic impeller in the pump. I want to know if this is the way it is supposed to work.

An intelligent controller and low power transistors integrated in the main body, the then unit of the stator electromagnets of all stamps in the body main engine. The intelligent controller creates a stator rotating magnetic field, which in turn causes the rotor to rotate. The engine can fail, because the rotor is not properly aligned and binding. Verify that the rotor can rotate freely within the motor housing and not hit the side.
