What are good plants to plant in a nursery? (colored, insurance)?
We have about 3 feet by 6 feet near our Playstructure with playground for children (Region 8 – NorCal). On the northeast side of a fence and partly sunny for most of day.
The answers so far relate mainly to the gardens, but does not mention if you want vegetables or flowers. Color a flower garden is fun for children. I plant one every year with my grandchildren. Thoughts like (with its funny "faces"); heard lamb (look and feel exactly like a lamb's ear), the sunflower is always a good choice for children. Also, I have always liked each one chooses a geranium. The colors are very bright and bloom all summer. Besides a wealth of plant narcissus bulbs fall and like to see these flowers in spring. Last year we planted corn (ornament), which was fun. They raised their ears and kept them for fall decorations. It's fun to enjoy the day-care centers or parts of an installation in shops with you and see what they lead to. We are deciding what to plant.
