Why a dog bite fraudulent claims affect the ability of the owner is required to get insurance?
Although the lease stated, "no pets", my tenant has taken an aggressive dog. A visiting friend and teased the dog died. Blood is taken, EMT arrived. We have photo of the child to play tennis and golf a few days later. My insurance company will not pay a penny, yet pay more for coverage, because it is marked as an "incident" in my story. Is this legal? Can I make my own worst enemy?
Seriously, it is a slippery slope? I'm guilty nothing, the child is guilty of fraud but not sure I get a discount. if it matters, the house is in New York. I called several companies (all the way of large, national to local boys) and appears to be the rule. I sent pictures of the girl, so pay nothing. but it is still considered an incident. This is not only one thing nor should be national, depending on the company.
NY Sucks dude. I live here and also owns a rottweiler. Most large baby, never met, but New York has seen, Pit Bulls and otherdogs many as dangerous and insurance (if you can get for these dogs) is outrageous. You should have taken photos and video of a kid playing tennis and golf, lohabĂa SENT insurance company. They may have been able to do something. Contact a lawyer, maybe you can give advice, an appointment with a lawyer Hewill insurance betterthan know someone.
