Rana in a fresh water source outside?

I try to explain. My mother is a source of some water 20 gallons. After the fall and winter leaves clog the filter. Thus, around February, I turn it off then clean around, like today. So there are no bubbles. When I cleaned today is a little frog in cold water, I think. But I wonder whether it might be to eat mosquito larvae? If you turn the pump and spray, will leave the frog in the turbulence added? I think the pump is removed mosquitoes because they use water deer. So I am removing a source of food for the frog?

frogs do not eat the larvae mosquitoes. Instead, they eat adult mosquitoes. In addition, mosquitoes prefer still, stagnant water, but hot, fresh water is fair enough. Sprinkle a little and turbulence in the water, I'm sure that does not bother the frog. but if it is extreme, then the frog could find accommodation elsewhere.
