The other day I was doing yard work in my garden and found a bright red spider.?

The spider was approx. Less than 1 / 2 inches long and I saw him crawling a garden decoration. I had moved. Any idea what kind of spider it is?

Phiddipus johnsoni or Phiddipus formosus is a beautiful, innocent, indigenous people, young men jumping spider with bright red behind (not in the bottom as the widow of black and red is not round, an hourglass). They do not like silk so they hunt on foot around and pounce on its prey, so no hard site, either. They have long legs like the widow, but the males have bright turquoise iridescent his forelegs, you need a screen – what I saw when my cat put her paw gently on it – a beautiful jewel small garden! The woman is a bit dull brown thing. A book says that are common in southern California, but I've only seen two in my life and now am old. I say que suerte!
