What product can be used to treat / paint a garden door as new non-treated and painted old door?
I gardengate bought a kit made from treated pine to replace my old wooden garden gate to fall into ruin. I want to use the existing guard posts are in good state to replace them with the means of drilling in concrete effort is too much! The problem is the door of the posts have already been painted, but the new door is not pines. I am looking for a treatment of exterior wood or paint that is suitable for both new gate and posts previously painted door. I hope I can be more creative than purchasing 2 separate products = wood preservatives or treatments at the door and vaguely color matching items for the door! Any ideas somebody? Thanks for your help!
go to local B & Q have shelves of things, while conservatives will have a piece of yor door and try to match the color
