Good idea to take a UN flag to the upcoming Fourth of July parade?
Yes I went to a design conference of United Nations in Baltimore (I'm in high school.) And I have this little United Nations flag, as Americans, who spend the Fourth of July. It's a very pleasant memory of my trip. Anyway, the next Independence Day, we really want to take the center, where my family going to the parade like every year. I could take a flag U.S., besides himself. I live in a small city that is almost equally divided between liberals and conservatives. Good idea or someone hit me?
Did you know you is against international law to show a national symbol in the Great Hall of the United Nations in New York? The Kingdom – Building Nations is considered international territory that does not belong to any particular country, so if you're not the leader of a country and arrived in the UN building with a flag or a flag insignia of the country that is, you are prompted to remove all or leave it. Therefore, it considers the latter, why do you have a UN flag in a parade on Independence Day? It makes no sense. I do not think that really would be an affront to the United States (at least not all Americans who really know the United Nations) because the UN is an organization NGO. Reference Flag of the United Nations would serve as Doctors Without Borders flag or banner WFP makes no sense. The United States is part of the UN but the UN has nothing to do with U.S. federal holidays. If you deliberately trying to incite anger and make a statement against the U.S., there's a flag of another country or a European Union flag. If you try to be anti-patriotic, less meaningful. PS For the record, I'm writing if I have seen a parade of the Day Independence with a UN flag, a stupid and an insult to the Organization Model United Nations. My university did not honor the home in the United Nations model competition 25 years for some countries in Latin High Schooler to mock her.
