Toyota dealer is charging $ 650 for Timing Belt, water pump and replace the drive belt. Is this a fair price?
This 1999 4-cylinder Toyota Camry. Water pumps, replacement cost is only 4 hours, which is about $ 450. It seems that the price gouging to me. What is your opinion?
Um do not think it wrong that could reach 450 or 500 if you went to an independent garage, but a distributor of 650 is no worse, if you have to do this work is hard to understand why it is not part of it that sux. That's why I work on airplanes more money now and no complaints about the cost of labor.
