How to keep live fish in a water garden?
I bought a small fountain and have 3 plants in 3-tad poles and 2 fish. I have Pix if one wants to send a message. I fear that the water is water is not good for my fish. My boyfriend thinks that plants are really too small for my fountain or garden water is in need of an oxygen pump to keep the fish alive. My mother has a large scale similar water garden with a fountain, plants and fish with the only difference is that you have well water and a water garden is much greater than mine. So I need to pump oxygen and my source? Should I take out the plants? Do you think that I have to buy bottled water to put in my source or atleast buy the chemical that makes the Florida and chlorine water? Only plants and put in my fish tank last night. Home from work today, my Trickler become clogged with dirt from my feet and somehow my water flowed. It was empty when I got home today, but the level of water was low. And guess what? I killed 2 poles and 2 fish tad. Perhaps you should stick to only those plants that can keep them alive. So do not be responsible for death no more. I wish I could post a pix here's one in my 360 if want to see what work.
If you have a garden with a fountain of water the fish are oxygen, plants also provide oxygen. Once the wrench about 24 hours. chlorine disappears. If you have goldfish in the pond treated of a block of ice floating in it during this hot weather, they love the cold weather.
